MAX's Wine Dive opened to much fanfare in December, 2006, and has been an award-winning hit ever since.  One of the first restaurants to occupy the now bustling Washington Avenue corridor, MAX's helped set the bar for the quality of food and wine in the area.

Designed to be a laid-back and comfortable restaurant, MAX's blends a casual, industrial feel with a top-notch food and wine program.  Serving "gourmet comfort food" and wines from around the world, MAX's mantra is "Fried Chicken and Champagne?... Why the Hell Not?!"  On any given night, you can find a 20-something sitting at the bar next to a 60-something – each drinking the same Aussie Shiraz with the "Texas Haute Dog" and listening to killer tunes from the juke box.

Open until the wee hours of the morning on many nights, MAX's shines with its "late night menu" and "reverse happy hour".  Sunday brunch features fried chicken and pancakes… not to mention some serious mimosas...
